两年一次，卡城市政府评选建筑设计市长大奖。今年的获奖设计范围很广，从临时的外观修整到区域规划设计，今年的候选作品达到了68幅，是参赛作品最多的一年。
今年新增加了三个门类的评选：the Green City award, the People’s Choice award and the Urban Architecture (unbuilt) award。一共13个类别的设计获奖。
卡尔加里城市不断发展，城市形象和景观越来越得到国际的认可和声誉，精心设计的建筑和公共空间会让留连其中的人们受到启发和鼓舞，下面就来欣赏一下这些获奖作品：
Green City
Winner: Ramsay Net Zero Secondary Suite

Conceptual or Theoretical Urban Design Project
Winner: Lost Spaces Ideas Competition
Lost Space创意设计大赛，是为了城市里那些空地或者难以开发的空间寻求解决方案。

可能没有大型单体现代建筑那么酷，不过区域规划设计非常重要
