卡城 • 轻轨系统C-Train一览

卡城市长Nenshi说：“每一辆三车厢的C-Train可搭载600位乘客，这意味着路上少了550辆汽车，这非常有意义”

卡城的C-Train平均每百万人口有53km的轻轨，在加拿大城市中人均最长，大部分的轻轨是在近十年内铺就的。

卡城有60Km的轻轨线路，45个车站，每天通勤120,000-145,000人次的乘客。

Calgary Transit的经理Douglas Morgan说，C-Train之所以设计在地面运行，是为了节约投资。

卡城的轻轨系统2001年开始使用风能电力，不过2012年之后，市政和Enmax签署了供电协议，包括LRT之内所有施政设施运行的电力供应，都来自于Alberta南部的风力电厂。
